The Fast and Slow Ways of Workout to Burn Fat

A recent study from Japan used a plan that is known as the Tabata Protocol, and many other exercise trainers think that this method is even more promising then the regular, routine cardio intervals.



Many people however are not convinced that this workout to burn fat is more effectual than the typical intervals, but even they concede that it sure is one vigorous way to burn fat!!



Once you do your warm up you follow it up with twenty seconds of hard reps and ten seconds of recovery time. You repeat this about eight times. This means that your total workout time to burn fat is about four minute's total.



Another very similar work out to burn fat is called body circuit cardio. Just like that of the Tabata intervals, this method is not necessarily cardio, but is among the three best workouts used to burn fat.



You start off with a pretty easy and fun exercise like jumping jacks, then you move on to alternating between three lower and upper body exercises by doing pushups, squats, chin ups, and total abdominal workouts like mountain climbing or sit ups.



Afterwards, you finish the workout with total body workouts like jumps or running in place for about thirty minutes.



Now that is a workout to burn fat!



The truth is that in order to workout to burn fat you have to use a very high intensity interval program like the ones mentioned above. By using lower intensity workouts you will not see immediate results until after about twelve weeks of doing this type of program.



Therefore, it pays for you to look into the Tabata or body circuit cardio programs if you are looking into using a work out to burn fat in a short amount of time.



However, if you are not interested in developing a more rigorous exercise routine, you can always stick with the common cardio work out to burn fat which is walking.



By walking three to five times a week on top of a good diet you will burn fat at a much slower rate but it will get you in shape and keep your weight off if you stick to the routine.



Also, if you are into exercises like yoga, you can build muscle tone and endurance while burning fat without having to follow a rigorous routine. Swimming is another less intense total body workout to burn fat that serves to tone and strengthen the muscles as well as burn off unwanted fat.



So, the choice is up to you as to what kind of workout to burn fat program will work for you and your lifestyle. Just remember that if you want instant results you will have to do the high intensity cardio work out programs, but if you want to remain on a lower intensity routine then expect your results to come at a much slower pace.
