Once you enter a clinic waiting room, take a deep breath. This might sound odd, but it is a good indicator of antiseptic cleanliness. Take a look around and notice if things seem dusty and unkempt. You might want to think about visiting another doctor. Dirty conditions in the waiting room is also an indicator of what the exam room most likely will be like. If the staff does not keep the waiting room clean, imagine the exam tables and restrooms. Disease is easily spread in unclean conditions, especially at a medical facility.

If you use Medicaid or Medicare insurance, you will need to locate the clinic and centers that accept. Many private practice doctors will not accept Medicaid but do take Medicare. The best thing to do is to get on the phone or go online to check the doctors that accept your type of insurance coverage.
