Simple Organic Skin Cream For You
A lot of mistakes have been exposed in the past decade. Products which have been used in the past, have now been looked upon with disdain. Women used to be told to smoke so they could keep down the weight they gained during pregnancy, and also keep the weight of the baby on the lower end of the scale. People were told to use mineral oil, petroleum jelly, and paraffin wax based products to soften skin. In order to keep healthy, organic skin cream is the appropriate way to treat your skin.
Organic can mean any number of definitions. This makes it difficult for those of us consumers, who would like to keep things easy, to know exactly what we are putting in and on our bodies. In any case, "organic" (for right now, anyway) is just the easiest form in which a substance comes. An example is, apples would be more organic than apple pie.
It is important, as people who can think for themselves, that we be allowed to know what ingredients are incorporated in the items we use, and whether they are good for us or not! How can we choose, when most of what we are given are chemicals with fancy names that most of us can not pronounce, and do not know from where they come?
What is very sad, is the fact that people who have trusted the promoted products which have been on the market, for decades, may have gotten sick from the very products they were told they could presume was good for them! Mineral oil, petroleum based products, and lard should never have been the choice for us.
Organic oils which are much better for your body are: Jojoba, Coconut, Avocado, and Macadamia. Shea butter, and Aloe vera can be combined with any one, or all of the oils, to create a skin softener you will admire.
Several people have complained that oils make their skin feel "greasy". Well, in the first place, you do not have to use a gallon of oil to moisten your skin. A small amount (about a teaspoon) is more than enough to dampen your facial and neck area. Of course, you will have to experiment to see what amount will work for the rest of your body. Also, is it not worth a little "greasiness" to pamper your skin, and not take in any toxins?
The purpose of this is not to make you decide one way or another. The information given here is strictly to let you know with what you have to work. If moisturizing your skin with petroleum does not bother you, then continue using those items. But, if you want something else, give the "organic" products a try.
