Everybody in one time or another may have experienced suffering from acidity or heartburn; these two are one of the top most disorders in chemical and digestive disorders that a person can
experience. Acidy is something that is experienced whenever the amount of acid in the body is too much to handle and the normal pH scale of 7 is reached and exceeded. Heartburn is that pain sensation that one feels whenever the acid in the stomach is forced back into the esophagus and up reaching the chest and back of the breast bone of the body, the pain is excruciating. The
thing that makes these two interconnected is its acidity level and the implications by which over acidity is experienced.
The moment that the body has accumulated acid and is stored, the capacity or limit that the body can normalize it extends to a certain point whereby the body malfunctions. Chemical imbalance in the body leads to a lot of disorders making it harder for digestion to function well.
So for the body to not experience this, a lot of remedies or measures are done to stop it from happening.
1.) Consume water every day; water is good for the body because it gives a lot of benefits especially to one's health. Water flushes all unwanted elements and wastes in the body
that may have been stored and it also contributes to the body's proper digestion. Water also eliminates toxins and other unwanted wastes that have been piling up in the body which is one of the causes of heartburn and acidity.
2.) You should also avoid from foods that helps trigger these two disorders. Foods that contain acid, sugar, fat and carbohydrates help in the indigestion which can lead to these two disorders. Beverages that also have high content of carbon dioxide like soft drinks
and sodas are not good for the body, caffeinated drinks like coffee is another thing that you might want to watch out for.
3.) Eat a lot of fruits. Fruits help in the digestion of food because of the natural vitamins and minerals that one can get from them. Banana for instance helps in the proper absorption
and digestion of food. Other fruits like apple, cucumber, watermelon and a lot more have so much to give to the body in terms of nutrients and other minerals.
4.) Eating large quantities of meals even if full is one cause of acidity and heartburn. Indigestion can be experienced if one has too much to process and the stomach can only
function for a period of time in processing food and when there is too much of it then instances that food is not fully processed can lead to digestive disorders.
5.) Juices out of potato, tamarind, carrot and aloe vera can also help in the elimination of too much acid in the body. These juices are rich in nutrients that can help in the body's normal functions of digestion.
6.) When eating, do it in a slow and proper manner. Hurrying eating can lead to causes of indigestion because the food consumed was not properly chewed and grinded.
