If you improve your diet, not only will you avoid pesky chronic constipation symptoms, you will also achieve overall health and well-being. And, eating healthy is such a small compromise you can make to avoid the discomfort and pain caused by constipation and its profound effects on your overall health. Aside from these diet-related adjustments, do also the following:
* Exercise. Get enough exercise because this increases the muscular contractions in the intestines, facilitating the passage of stool. Walking is the best way to exercise for constipation. But if you are a couch potato, do not wonder why you suffer from chronic constipation.
* Bathroom Visit. Take the time to relieve yourself when you need to. Give time to something as important as eliminating the wastes and toxins your body wants to release.
