Once you have done this then you should develop your schedule. By developing a specific schedule to follow you will make it a lot easier for you to stick to your path. Anyone who is taking their bodybuilding seriously needs to commit to working out at least five or six times each and every week.

It is important that you specify certain days for certain muscle groups. You should try to group together different areas of the body as part of your routine. For example, start with your triceps and chest, then work on your biceps and back, and then your abdominals and legs.

Make sure that you don't exercise any muscle group 2 days running. It is absolutely critical that you provide your body with plenty of rest time so that it can repair and rebuild. It is during this process that your muscles will grow and if you put too much train on them you are going to limit growth and cause injury.

Use a range of exercises for every different muscle you are trying to build. If you use the same exercise over and over then your success will be limited. Try to choose several different types of exercise for each different muscle.

You should also be focusing on swapping your workout around every few weeks as well. Again, if you are using the same exercises relentlessly then eventually your body is going to get used to them and your ability to build muscle will be limited. Every three or four weeks, adopt a new routine.
